A new bicycle with a traditional vintage feel

We love old vintage second hand bicycles. In fact we’ve spend a lot of our time getting to know how bikes work and what works best simply by stripping, repairing replacing and rebuilding old bikes to suit our needs. But it takes a lot of time, knowledge and effort to keep an old bike on the road, not to mention expense and this kind of pursuit isn’t suited to everyone. The beginnings of Wren Bicycles took place when we decided to take this knowledge and experience and apply a few questions of our own – how, what if and why? Throughout the process we didn’t want to loose track of what makes a traditional vintage bicycle attractive, so we kept styling simple and minimal using established components and materials from well known brands.

All bespoke features such as the front and rear racks have been exclusively designed, engineered and safety tested by and for Wren Bicycles. A bike design that is similar in design and function won’t be found anywhere else – yet the Wren design feels timeless in appearance and ride quality. Cycling is becoming increasingly popular by the month, especially in cities such as London, Manchester and Bristol. With so many journeys made over a relatively short distance, it only seems logical that cycling should become more prevalent, not only as a means of recreation and sport but as a practical, cheaper and healthier alternative to a car or public transport. As the cities and towns open up to cycling, Wren Bicycles are set to become a notable two wheeled feature of the streets of this country and beyond.
